Our story
We build software that delivers.
We're a close-knit team of innovators, passionate about technology and the future of parcel delivery. Driven by a shared commitment to efficiency, we work together to create delightful experiences that simplify the complexities of the courier industry.
Shiplogic was born out of necessity in 2017. At the time, uAfrica (now known as Bob Go, part of Bob Group), a courier aggregator platform, experienced constant frustration working on and integrating with outdated courier software. Clunky systems, unreliable integrations, and poor data validation created friction for couriers, online stores, and ultimately the end customer.
As a tech-driven team that loves building things, we asked ourselves: Why not create something better?
What followed was a multi-year journey of prototyping, testing, and building from the ground up. In mid-2021, we launched Shiplogic with Internet Express, followed by The Courier Guy in December 2021. Since then, we've onboarded MTE Xpress (2023), Takealot Fulfilment Solutions (2024), RAM (July 2025), Fastway (March 2026), On the Dot (March 2026), Medilogistics (April 2026), and Courierit (May 2026). We didn't just want to replace legacy systems. We wanted to reimagine how a courier operation could work with real-time tracking, comprehensive billing, proactive customer updates, and automation baked in.
In July 2025, we officially spun Shiplogic out of Bob Group as a fully independent company, allowing us to sharpen our focus and double down on solving real courier problems at scale. The same month, RAM went live on Shiplogic with our counter functionality, bringing walk-in shipments booked and paid for over the counter onto the platform.
In January 2026, we partnered with Loop to bring best-in-class route optimisation directly into Shiplogic, and to work alongside a like-minded team that shares our obsession with making delivery more efficient.
In March 2026, Fastway went live on Shiplogic, followed by On the Dot in the same month and Medilogistics in April 2026, further expanding our footprint across South Africa's courier landscape.
In May 2026, Courierit lifted off on Shiplogic, running wallet, counter and international shipments on the platform.
Our mission is to help courier companies optimise, cut costs, and improve their customers' delivery experience, so they can stay ahead in a rapidly evolving world.

Our partnerships
We partner with best-in-class technology providers so couriers get more out of Shiplogic without stitching together multiple tools.
Through our partnership with Loop, route optimisation and planning are embedded directly into the Shiplogic platform. Couriers can plan and optimise routes without leaving their operations software, cutting down on distance driven, fuel spend and time on the road while getting more parcels delivered per vehicle.
